01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Onavani Inc., an Austin, Texas company ("Onavani," "we," "us"), governing your use of OIE — the Outlier Intelligence Engine app at app.onavani.com and this website. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use OIE.

You must be 18 or older to use OIE.

02What OIE is

OIE monitors publicly available YouTube channel and video data, scores videos against their own channel's historical baseline to flag outliers ("breakouts"), and can generate AI-written explanations of why a flagged video may be outperforming, grounded in the video's public transcript and statistics.

OIE is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any tracked creator or channel. All video and channel content belongs to its respective owners.

03Your account

Accounts are created and accessed with an email address and a one-time sign-in link — there is no password. That means whoever controls your email inbox controls your OIE account: keep your email secure, don't forward sign-in links, and tell us promptly at office@onavani.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You're responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

04Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Free plan. Full dashboard access — all niches, both scoring methods — plus three AI explanations and the optional weekly digest. No payment method required.
• Pro plan — $9 per month. Everything in Free, plus unlimited AI explanations and premium dashboard filters (video age and view-count range).

Billing. Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor, at the start of each billing cycle. We never see or store your card number; billing details are managed entirely on Stripe's hosted Checkout and Customer Portal.

Cancellation. Cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep Pro features until then, and you won't be charged again.

Price changes. If we change the Pro price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription. If you don't agree, cancel before your next renewal.

05Refunds

To be unambiguous: we do not offer refunds or credits for partial billing months. When you cancel, the current month runs to its end and no further charges occur. If you believe you've been billed in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation — email office@onavani.com and we'll make it right.

06Acceptable use

OIE is built for people reviewing breakout data, not for machines harvesting it. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the service, or access it by automated means outside features we provide;
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to your account or to paid features, or use one account on behalf of multiple people or an organization without our written agreement;
• Probe, overload, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the service's security, rate limits, or plan limits (including the free explanation allowance);
• Reverse engineer the service or use it to build a directly competing dataset;
• Use OIE, or outputs from it, in ways that violate applicable law or third-party terms, including YouTube's Terms of Service.

07Informational only — not advice

Outlier scores are statistical signals derived from public data that can be delayed, incomplete, or revised, and AI-generated explanations are automated interpretations that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or simply wrong. Both are provided for informational purposes only.

Nothing in OIE is professional, financial, investment, or business advice, and no output is a guarantee that any video, topic, or strategy will perform in any particular way. Decisions you make based on the service — content strategy, spending, anything — are yours, and you should verify important information independently before acting on it.

08Intellectual property

The service — its software, design, branding, and original content — belongs to Onavani. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use OIE for your own internal purposes while these terms are in effect. YouTube video content, channel names, and transcripts remain the property of their respective owners.

09Termination

By you: stop using the service at any time, and request account deletion by emailing office@onavani.com (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works). Deleting your account doesn't by itself cancel a Pro subscription — cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal first.

By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create legal risk — with notice where practical, immediately where necessary. We may also modify or discontinue the service; if we discontinue it entirely, we'll give paying subscribers reasonable advance notice and won't charge beyond the shutdown date.

10Disclaimers and limitation of liability

OIE is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or explanation is correct.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onavani will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose — which, on the free plan, is zero. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Before anything formal: email office@onavani.com. Most issues are resolvable in one exchange.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and we'll email account holders before material changes take effect. Continued use of OIE after a change means you accept the updated terms.
